Donnis Benson began her career with the mortgage and title industry in 1986 with Kislak Mortgage Company as Vice President/Cash Manager overseeing the Treasury Department. In 1997, Ms. Benson accepted a position with The Performance Group as their Senior Consultant, where she was involved with IT project management for several mortgage companies.
Ms. Benson then joined Lennar in 1998 as Assistant Treasurer of Universal American Mortgage Company working with banks and credit facilities. After 2 years, she transferred within the company to a Project Manager role in the Strategic Initiatives division involved in implementing technologies that would streamline processes and automate the movement of monies. In February of 2003, Ms. Benson accepted the position of Treasurer for North American Title Group where she handles all banking relationships across the nation.
Ms. Benson is a current member of the National Association of Financial Professionals. In 2004, she was nominated one of the top 300 experts in treasury and finance by the AFP. She is also past president and current member of the local South Florida Association of Financial Professionals.
Ms. Benson received a Master of business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota and has a Certified Treasury Professional designation. |
