Floyd Krause began his career with Chicago Title Insurance Company in 1963. Mr. Krause’s tenure with Chicago Title spanned thirty-six years, the first eight years in Illinois followed by twenty-eight years in Florida. Through his years with Chicago Title, Mr. Krause excelled in the industry and attained the position of Vice President and Regional Counsel for Florida and the Caribbean, with responsibilities for all underwriting and governmental functions in those areas.
In 2001, Mr. Krause accepted the position of President of North American Title Insurance Corporation responsible for expansion into new markets and the Company’s underwriting and claims matters in Florida, Texas, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Illinois. In March 2005, Mr. Krause was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Underwriting Counsel to re-focus his efforts on underwriting, where he is considered among the best in the industry.
Mr. Krause is a member of the Florida and Illinois Bar Association and is active in the Florida Land Title Association. He is frequently asked by his peers to speak to groups regarding title insurance and title related topics.
Mr. Krause earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law. |
