About Me
As the great-granddaughter of Colorado homesteaders, I am proud to be a third generation Colorado native. I grew up in the Aurora area attending Rangeview High School and went on to continue my education at the University of Northern Colorado, but quickly realized I missed big city life, so after completing my first year of college, I moved back to Aurora and began my career at North American Title while finishing up my schooling at the University of Colorado at Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Political Science. I also had the incredible opportunity to spend some time studying in Russia and the Czech Republic. I originally planned to go into education, but like many in this industry, my real estate roots run deep with a mother that has been a long time REALTOR®, and a father who works as a loan officer, and I am glad to be representing my family from the title insurance perspective.
I believe that the key to success is in building strong relationships and giving back to the community. I am very active in the Aurora Association of REALTORS® (AAR) where I serve on numerous committees from the Holiday Luncheon Committee, Governmental Affairs Committee and Affiliate Committee to the AAR AmbassadAARS for new members, the Young Real Estate Professionals Group and anywhere else I can jump in and help. I was honored in 2005 as the Affiliate of the Year, the most prestigious award given to non-real estate agent members of the association. Additionally, I serve on the State Convention and REALTOR® Rally planning committees for the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, and am an active member of the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association and the Colorado Mortgage Lender's Association. When not working or serving in the real estate community, you can often find me on a volleyball court, singing, reading, cooking, arranging flowers, playing piano, or participating in a myriad of activities through my church and various community and charity organizations.
