North American Title Company is happy to accept electronic versions of closing documents via email. To expedite the routing of these email documents to the correct closing office we ask that the following addressing guidelines be used when sending these email documents.
Not all lenders use the same method to provide closing packages. Some packages are email attachments while others are downloaded from a website. Closing packages are frequently quite large, nearly 1 megabyte. It takes time to move these packages around. Please send closing packages, or the information for download, at least one business day before the actual closing date to insure timely delivery.
Address email pertaining to closing packages to: il.closingpackages@natdocs.com (This pertains to Illinois only). In the subject line include the NAT file number and the borrower's last name
Including identifying information in the subject line will substantially aid in the identification and routing of your email to the closer that is expecting it.
If you have not successfully sent an email version of a closing a package to North American it is recommended that a test message be sent to insure that proper communication is established.
Our ISP has implemented procedures that reject email from servers known to send SPAM email. When this occurs, a reject message is returned to the originator of the email. North America Title Company does not see any of these reject messages. If you receive such a message, we would appreciate receiving, via fax, a copy of the message, complete with all header information. Faxes should be sent to Information Services Manager at 847-360-8462.
